Dubois & King / Barker Architects hired by Town of Exeter

Dubois & King / Barker Architects hired by Exeter, NH for Historic Depot Renovations
The team of Dubois & King, Barker Architects, Inc and several other specialists are working to restore and repurpose the Exeter Depot Baggage Building into a ticket facility for the DownEaster Train.
The Exeter Depot Baggage Building is an existing 700 square foot stone building that once was part of an active passenger rail station. Once renovated, the building will again serve train passengers, now for the DownEaster Train Service. The team of Dubois & King and Barker Architects has experience in historic B&M depots and the federal funding for them after having completed the Windham Depot restoration recently. They are now charged with restoring this facility with the renovations scheduled to be complete early in 2015.

Barker/Severn Team hired by Epsom, NH

Barker/Severn Team hired by Epsom, NH for Town Hall Project
The Design/Build team of Barker Architects, Inc and Severn Construction Company, LLC is hired by the Epsom, NH Selectmen to design and build their New Town Hall.
In a competitive process Barker Architects and Severn Construction were awarded the opportunity to work with the town in developing a new plan to bring to the voters of Epsom, NH in March 2014. The project will renovate the lower level of the historic meeting house which was moved to the current site through LCHIP grants and volunteer labor. The upper level will remain a meeting space and be used for public meetings. Historic elements of the building such as the stained glass windows will be restored.
